Samantha F. Teer, NP

Dreaming of working in the field of medicine since she was five years old, Samantha Teer, APRN, FNP-C, nurtures each patient through perioperative care as she also extends compassion and support to their family. She builds relationships with patients to gain their trust during this vulnerable time. Samantha provides pre- and post-operative care in the hospital, as well as post-operative care and wound care in the clinic.

Samantha obtained her RN associate’s degree from Louisiana Tech University, a bachelor’s degree from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and a master’s degree with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner at Herzing University. A certified family nurse practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Samantha is also a member of the NWLA Chapter of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society.  

Away from the clinic, Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband, Cory; daughter, Kerri; and three dogs. In her free time, she enjoys taking her daughter to all her dance activities, watching sports and reading. Samantha already has plans to open a bookstore when she retires so she can share a different reading experience with the area than what chain stores offer.
